Certification Program Description:
Join the over 100 certified professionals already qualified to administer and debrief the Actualized Leader Profile (ALP) and the Group Culture Profile (GCP). Both the ALP and the GCP are based on 20 years of research conducted by Dr. Will Sparks. When administered and debriefed together, the ALP and the GCP comprise the Actualized Performance Cycle framework, a powerful assessment suite that has been used extensively in executive coaching, leader development, and teambuilding. The Actualized Performance Cycle was highlighted in the recent book “The Director’s Manual: A Framework for Board Governance” (Peter Browning & William Sparks, Wiley, 2016) and will be the subject of the forthcoming book “Actualized Leadership: Meeting Your Shadow and Maximizing Your Potential” (2017).
This program is designed for both internal talent development professionals and external executive coaches and consultants, and offers a new and powerful assessment process for accelerating the growth and improved performance of your clients. This certification program will allow you to become certified in scientifically valid assessments based on the work of Carl Jung, Abraham Maslow, Wilfred Bion, and Jerry Harvey, and to serve as an affiliate of William L. About Dr. William L. Sparks
Will Sparks is the Dennis Thompson Chair & Professor of Leadership at the McColl School of Business at Queens University of Charlotte, where he also serves as the Director of the Office of Leadership Initiatives. While on sabbatical from Queens in 2015-2016 he served as Global Vice President of Talent with EnPro Industries, a $1.5B global manufacturing company headquartered in Charlotte, NC. In this role he was responsible for the leadership development, learning, and talent management initiatives across the company. He is a Principal with William L. Sparks & Associates, LLC, a professional services firm founded in 1999 focused on leadership and team development, human potential, and change management. He serves as a Partner with Peter Browning Partners, LLC, a consulting firm providing board governance and executive coaching services to a variety of boards and senior executives. He is the co-author (with Peter Browning) of the book “The Director’s Manual: A Framework for Board Governance” (2016) and the author of the forthcoming book “Actualized Leadership: Meeting Your Shadow & Maximizing Your Potential” (2017), both published by Wiley. He completed his Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior and Development under the direction of Dr. Jerry B. Harvey from The George Washington University’s School of Business and Public Management, where his research focused on group dynamics, organizational culture, and leadership.
